Giveaway: It's Time to Share the Love!!

It's the 13th of the month so that means it's time to give away a book that I want to share! I call this giveaway Share the Love!

Let me tell you why I want to share this particular book with you. I'll be honest with you, when I first saw this book at the bookstore I took one look at it and kept walking. I don't know why, but I just wasn't interested in it. I had only heard a few things about it, but not enough to interest me. Then one day on Twitter someone mentioned a hot guy in the book. Now anyone that knows that me knows that I'm a sucker for a hot guy in a book! So I decided to read this book to see what this guy named Gabriel was all about. I was not disappointed! This book reeled me in from the beginning. Literally the first couple of sentences! There aren't that many books that do that to me and I could not put this book down. It has action, romance, drama, just everything! I hope you get reeled into this book as well! This month's book for Share the Love! is:

Wicked Enchantment by Anya Bast!!

Here is what Wicked Enchantment is all about:

When you’re a half incubus, your reputation precedes you…

All eyes are on Gabriel Mac Braire the day he makes his first appearance in the Seelie Court, including those of Aislinn Finvarra. Despite deep bitterness over her last failed relationship, Aislinn cannot help but be curious about the half incubus who is known to possess dark magick, both lethal and sexual in nature. Rumors abound of the women who have become enslaved to his irresistible charms.

So when the Summer Queen of the fae orders Aislinn herself to act as his guide in the court, she is understandably on guard. She’s fallen under the spell of far less persuasive men before. In addition, Gabriel might be more than he seems and his true mission is far from innocent.

This time, Aislinn must protect not only her heart, but her very life…

That wonderful synopsis was from the author's site and here is a link to her website: http://www.anyabast.com/ There is also information about book 2 of the Dark Magick Series, Cruel Enchantment. I also did a review of the book which can be found here.

So here are the rules of the contest:

  1. Yay, I'm first! :-) Thank you for your generosity! Haven't read any Anya Bast yet, but heard great things about her books.

Depending on the kind of book, I usually recommend them to my 2 sisters, my mom and one of my best friends. This only goes for chick lit and YA books, as they don't read UF or PNR. :-(

    Thank you!

  2. Yaaaaay, I want to win this one. haha.

I love sharing books with two people- you, the bell of the ball and taylor. I share the romance/paranormal books with you and the zombie/dark fiction books with Taylor. WHY?! Because it is fun and we can get into silly conversations- you guys are my best buddies :)

    You know the e-mailzzz. hehe

  3. Unfortunately, the majority of my friends don't read like I do (or at all) so I don't "share" my books with anyone very often. When I first discovered the BDB series, I immediately told my co-worker/friend about it. I told her she must read Dark Lover. She immediately fell in love with Wrath like I did. We were both disappointed when what made us love the series became seriously lacking in the later books.

My friend Court is a huge Nora Roberts fan just like me. We keep each other updated with the new release dates. We buy all of her books and then discuss them via text and email while we're reading them. In November we went to Nora Robert's book signing and had the best time. So as you can see, I don't necessarily share books but I do share the reading experience.

  6. Ooooh another book that needs to be added to my TBR list!! I've always shared my books with the YA in my neighborhood. But recently, my BFF wanted to read the Twilight Series so I shared those with her. Now she keeps coming back for more and more books :) So Stacy my Ace is now hooked as well! :)

  7. Great contest! I've heard really good things about this book.

I love sharing books with my friend Shannon. I had just cracked the surface of the genre, and she introduced me to so many great series and authors. She's moved across the country, so we don't physically share books anymore, but we still discuss what we've read recently, and if we liked/disliked.

  8. Nice Giveaway!

My favorite person to share books with is my other blogger half...my twin...my partner in crime, K-Khan. One she is just as excited as I am to read it and two, she WILL give it back to me once she is done. My younger sister, hand to god, ruins my books and NEVER returns them. The nerve!

  10. I've not read anything by Anya Bast before, so please enter me in the drawing.

My favorite person to share books? I share books with my oldest niece(19 in July) all the time. In fact we trade books back and forth all the time. We can spend hours in a bookstore picking out books and then deciding who will buy which books.

  11. Ok, you've told me so much about Gabriel that I have to enter this one!

My favorite person to share books with.... I have more than one. There's you, obviously. You're like my soulmate when it comes to books and book boyfriends.

    I also like discussing & sharing books with @aperfectpisces, @twimom227, @Love2Read4Fun, @FictionVvn, @TrishB, @JASaare, @ZoeWinters, @amyt865, @jojosbookcorner....

There are so many! Twitter has given me an insight into this wonderful world of books and blogging and FRIENDSHIP!

When it comes to physically sharing books (loaning them to each other), then I'd have to say that my BFF/"sister" Lolo would be my favorite person to share books with. She's the one who got me started on book loaning. She let me borrow her copy of "Finding the Dream" by Nora Roberts and it just snowballed from there (both my book sharing and my Nora Roberts love, LOL).

    I'm already a follower, and I'm 19 yrs old.

Answer: My mom. She's the only person in my family who likes reading as much as I do. We read some of the same books and we love to give each other our opinions and thoughts about the book!

    Thanks,

  14. My favorite person to share my books with is my sister because we both love to read the same type of books. I've gotten her hooked on a lot of different genres that she wouldn't have tried before. She lives on the other side of the country, so I usually save them up until I have a box full, and then send them.

  19. This last year, I haven't been able to share any books because I bought 99% of my books in Kindle format and those can't be shared (boo-hoo). It doesn't really matter anyway because I don't have any friends who share my love of all things paranormal. As a matter of fact, they all think I'm a bit crazy. I keep wanting to pick the first Mercy Thompson book for my bookclub selection - maybe next year LOL.

In the past, my favorite person to share books with was my mom. We both loved romances and would trade them back and forth.

  20. I want Anya Bast's Wicked Enchantment. Dying for a peek at Gabriel.

Here's a fun way to share...if you finish the book during your commute, leave it on the subway or train or the seat of the bus for someone else to pick up.
That's how new readers are hatched!

  21. I like sharing with my mother. For a start she always returns them!
We don't really discuss books because our taste is so different and I'll often recommed or lend her a book I haven't liked a book. I get a sense of satisfaction from being able to understand her taste as distinct from my own.

Although we don't always discuss the actual books we will often refer to them in conversation and having reading the same books lays down a basis of mutual comprehension.

  23. This is on my list too. :) Thank you for the chance to win it.

Who do I share my books with. Well, I don't really physically share them as I really don't have any friends that read the same books as I do. Oh, wait! I have one fellow worker. We talk about books and suggest each other reads. So I share with her. But I share what I read with everyone who follows me. I do have a few friends on the blogs here and in a few forums which I love discussing the books with. Those are the few people I like to share my books with. :)

  25. I love sharing books with my mom although our tastes are not quite the same. It took me forever to convince her to read the Twilight Saga! She won't read anything paranormal. *sigh*

I sometimes recommend her books and she does the same to me. I love discussing about a book with my mom. :)

  29. The person I share books with the most? That would be my daughter. She's awesome. We read, critique, and share the best stories about our books and continuously share new finds with eachother. Her latest to me was the other night, "Mom, here....it's got werewolves and smut...you'll love it." LOL I raised that girl right.
