The coming of the Blood Moon will lead two Lycan packs into war, spur two rival brothers into conflict, and spark an act of vengeance so evil that its effects will be felt for generations.

One woman stands at the center of it all...
After years of waiting, the Blood Law is at last avenged. Lycan Alpha Lucien Mondragon takes revenge on his brother, Rafael. Lucien is poised to slay Rafael's life mate, the Lycan/Slayer half-breed Falon- but cannot complete the kill. For Falon's mystical powers and fiery nature awaken a heart Lucien thought long dead. Instead of ending her life, Lucien defiantly marks Falon as his own, tormenting his brother to insanity and spurning Rafael's blood thirst for his own revenge.

Though terrified by the savage Lucien, Falon finds herself inexplicably drawn to his primal rage and strength by a desire she cannot resist. Torn between the true love she has for Rafael and the burning hunger she holds for Lucien, Falon knows that the will of her heart will lead her to her destined life mate. But it may also doom the Alpha brothers-and the Lycan race-to extinction...
In a dramatic change of events, Falon Corben has been ordered to leave the man that she loves and must become the mate of the brother he s no longer close to. Rafael's heart is broken as he watches his brother Lucien take his chosen one away with him.  Being with Lucien is something that Falon would never have imagined, but after seeing a different side to him she begins to think of him differently.  Karin Tabke does an excellent job with Lucien's character by allowing him to show his true emotions for his clan as well as his feelings for Falon throughout the book.  When I first read book 1 in the series Blood Law, I thought of Lucien as a selfish, hating character who only thought of himself.  Just like Falon, we get the chance to see him in a different light.  A hard working alpha that cares for all of those around him.  He has dealt with heartbreak of his own that makes him feel as if he will never love again.  He's always felt like he's always lived in the shadow of his brother as being the less liked one. So many obstacles and tragedies have shaped Lucien into the man that he is today. But with Falon's love, patience, and helping him to think differently about his past, he slowly evolves throughout the book to become a man that Falon is proud to love.  There are so many emotional moments as Lucien realizes that he needs to let go of the past in order for the healing to begin.  It was truly wonderful to see him in this whole new light and it made me love his character even more.

I loved seeing Lucien in action being the great warrior that he is and right alongside him was Falon.  I thought it was so refreshing to see feel free being with Falon and to see him proud of her being a warrior as well.  They truly felt as if they belonged together in this book and while I felt bad for Rafael and loved when they were together, it just feels right with her and Lucien.  You can feel their attraction to one another and it's so strong that Falon tried to deny it and was unable to.  They have some really hot love scenes that will truly have you fanning your face as you read it.  Now if you haven't read this series before, there are a couple of moments that will shock you.  Lucien and Falon are carnal with each other when it comes to their lovemaking and they truly give into the beast within.  These moments can be shocking to some readers, but for me these scenes made sense and felt natural to the storyline.  They are shifters and therefore animal in nature, so it's only right for them to be animalistic at times.  These scenes were also emotional as it showed the connection between Lucien and Falon strengthening.

I'm giving Bloodright a rating of:

So much excitement and action in Bloodright as Falon learns to adapt to her new surroundings which includes the new clan.  By standing on the side of Lucien she learns so much about herself and she realizes an inner power as Lucien and Rafael must bridge the gap between the two of them before it's too late. Together the 3 of them become more powerful against their enemies and this is when the real action comes into the storyline.  The relationship between the 3 of them is unique and complex and because they each connect to one another, it makes it even more emotional as they try to move on.  It's not easy situation and it's going to take some time.  Lots of surprises happen that has me looking forward to the final book in the trilogy Blood Vow.  If it's anything like the previous book in the series as well as Bloodright, then I'm pretty sure that Karin Tabke has something great in store for her readers.
