Welcome to another month of Share the Love!
*sigh* This book is so good. It's one of my favorite reads of 2011 so far! I'm currently writing the review for it and am having a hard time with it because the words in my review wouldn't do it justice! Yes, it's one of those types of books. So good that you just want to say, it's so good. Read it. And then you'll know what I mean. My doode Kat (Mistress Spice from The Order) recommended this book to me back at the beginning of the year and when I was contacted by the publisher of the author to review it I jumped at the chance! It took me a while to get to it but when I did, I just wanted to kick myself for waiting so long to read it! IT CONSUMED ME as I was reading it! I couldn't put it down. There was mayhem in my house that day because I couldn't put my Kindle down long enough to take care of my kids! They were on their own. LOL But you know what I mean, it was that kind of book! And I want to share it with someone. My giveaway this month is:
Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard!
Professor Gabriel Emerson, a specialist in Dante and the art of seduction, believes he has already earned his exile to the lower circles of hell. Since redemption is impossible, there is no reason to refrain from indulging in a life of pleasurable sin, using his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm as a means to gratify his every whim. But when he meets Julia Mitchell, a brilliant, lovely, and innocent grad student with the achingly familiar eyes of an angel, all of his cynical convictions are challenged. Her mysterious allure and the havoc she wreaks on his self-satisfied existence cause him to lash out at her, while her quiet beauty and innate goodness consistently undermine his control, tempting him beyond measure. Despite surviving a traumatic childhood, nothing has shaken Julia's faith that redemption is possible for everyone-everyone but her. Her unworthiness torments her, since the only man she will ever love has managed to forget her very existence, failing to even recognize her when they reconnect. Too naive to see that Gabriel's hostility is a mask for his increasing obsession with her, Julia forces him to come to grips with his past while she continues to unwittingly torment his senses. His fascination grows into a dangerous preoccupation, for Julia is forbidden fruit . . . Will Gabriel survive the inferno, or will he succumb to the flames?Oh I love it so! It will be getting 5 Bells in my review and the review should be on my blog sometime this week. I hope you will stop by and check it out.

Oooh! Want. Like, immediately. If you loved it, I know I will. Tortured heroes, hm? Well, if you haven't read Inez Kelley's Sweet as Sin, you really must. John, the hero in it is the most tortured hero I've ever read (and I've been reading romance for almost 30 years). It's superbly written, lingering romance novel. You've got my email, but if not:

I know you've read the Black Dagger Brotherhood. They are some hot tortured vamps. Then there is Lora Leigh's Breed and Elite Ops series. More hot men.

My current favourite tortured hero is Zsadist from "Lover Awakened" by J.R Ward. His story was very touching and I was rooting for him from the start. Brenda Joyce has so many dark heroes too, one of them is Sir Rex from "The Perfect Bride" and there is a tourtured hero in the "The Prize".

From recent books, Zsadist is my favorite tortured hero, but years ago, the first tortured hero that I ever read was Francis Crawford from Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles. Ever since then, I've always had a weakness for those kinds of characters. I haven't heard of this book. I'll have to check it out.

That would be Phury from the brotherhood series. He gave up so much to find and help his twin. Just to be pulled into the darkness of addiction and to come out strong on the other side. Win!

I would have to agree with all of the BDB comments. Also I love the Dark Hunters and Christine Feehans Carpathians. Probably all of which you have read. I think it would be hard for me to give you one you don't know because you have definately read way more than I have. I just discovered this genre so I am a newbie.
