He's got a living, breathing dilemma...Garth Vale has a problem. While searching a spy plane he stumbles upon a box that contains a baby. Garth has never dealt with a baby before and doesn't know the first thing about taking care of one. He knows that there is a new doctor in town and takes the baby to her to make sure it is ok. He feels a connection to the baby and knows that makes sure she is ok is the right thing to do. Because he is working in secret, he has to be careful of what info he shares and decides that it is best to say that he is the baby's father.
In the midst of running an undercover CIA mission, Navy SEAL Lt. Garth Vale finds an abandoned baby, and his superiors sure don't want to know about it. The only person who can help him is the beautiful new doctor in town, but she's got another surprise for him...
She's got a solution...at a price...
Dr. Bronwyn Whitescarver has left the frantic pace of big city ER medicine for a small town medical practice. Her bags aren't even unpacked yet when gorgeous, intense Garth Vale shows up on her doorstep in the middle of the night with a sick baby...
But his story somehow doesn't add up, and Bronwyn isn't quite sure who she's saving-the baby, or the man...
Bronwyn Whitescarver has just opened up her new practice in this small town and is surprised to find someone banging on her door one night during a storm. After seeing that the stranger has a baby, she just can't turn them away and let's them come in so that she can look over the baby. After questioning the man she realizes that something just isn't right and when she finally get the chance to see what he really looks like, she is relieved to realize that she has met Garth already at her friends wedding. Now she knows for sure that it isn't his baby since Garth was injured while in service. Garth of course has a hard time keeping some of the truth secret from her. He is also attracted to her and soon he and Bronwyn find themselves taking care of the baby together.
I liked Garth's natural instinct to protect the baby. He did the right thing and I applaud him for that. Same thing with Bronwyn and she quickly found herself falling in love with the baby. This is the only part of the book that I was able to connect with unfortunately. I had a hard time keeping interest in the story and the romance between Garth and Bronwyn was not enough for me to thoroughly enjoy this story.
I'm giving SEALed Forever a rating of:
I haven't read this yet. I'm sorry you didn't like it.
