Quick Review: Demon From the Dark by Kresley Cole

Title: Demon From the Dark

Author: Kresley Cole

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Publisher: Pocket Books

A DANGEROUS DEMON SHE CAN’T RESIST . . .

Malkom Slaine: tormented by his sordid past and racked by vampiric hungers, he’s pushed to the brink by the green-eyed beauty under his guard.

A MADDENING WITCH HE ACHES TO CLAIM . . .

Carrow Graie: hiding her own sorrows, she lives only for the next party or prank. Until she meets a tortured warrior worth saving.

TRAPPED TOGETHER IN A SAVAGE PRISON . . .

In order for Malkom and Carrow to survive, he must unleash both the demon and vampire inside him. When Malkom becomes the nightmare his own people feared, will he lose the woman he craves body and soul?

Let me start off by saying that I am in love with this cover. I've been in love with it from the first time I saw it. I cannot stop staring at it. I love it so much, that I want to find a permanent place on my blog to place it so I can keep staring at it. (Shut up Bells! They know you love the cover!)

Kresley Cole did not disappoint with this book at all. I especially enjoyed learning about all the other supernatural beings that were throughout the book. This world that she has created is exciting and I am anxious to find out what happens next!

Malkom. You gotta feel for this poor guy. He had the crappiest life and was so happy to have found his mate. I thought Carrow was very sassy and she had me cracking up throughout the book with what she was saying. I thought they made a great couple and am happy that Carrow gave into her true feelings and realized how much Malkom truly loved her.

This book was so good! I'm giving Demon From the Dark *4* Bells!

I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I have a feeling that all the folks we read about in the prison are going to be in the future books. Gosh I can't wait!

  2. Bells I could not agree more - I gave the book a 5/5 +1 for the awesome South Park reference. I am a huge fan of the Series and I LOVED the prison - way to get all the players in one spot.

We shall have to compare books some time!
