New Releases for week of 5/11/10

Here are some new releases for this week:

Sadly I could not find any books that are worth mentioning. If you know of anything good being released please let me know.

Ah the wonderful Celine Dion. This particular concert is 80 minutes and was recorded in Boston, MA. There is 25 performances on this CD/DVD combo. Here is a link to Amazon if you would like to see what songs are sung: http://tinyurl.com/2dph6zv I'm willing to listen to one more performance of "My Heart Will Go On" just so I can see if she is going to thump on her bony chest.

I am so happy this movie has finally been released since I didn't get a chance to see it in the theaters. Legion stars Paul Bettany as a fallen angel that comes to Earth to protect an unborn child that may be the salvation of humanity.

Daybreakers is another movie I didn't get a chance to see when it was in the theaters. It stars Ethan Hawke as a scientist that is looking for a blood replacement because vampires have taken over the world and there is a blood shortage. The vampires are draining humans into extinction. I love Vamp movies so I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

Mel Gibson stars in this drama about a father searching for his daughter's killer and the meaning behind her death. I'm still a fan of Mel's even though he may seem looney at times these days.

So that's it for this week. Slim pickings in the book department, but some interesting and entertaining picks in music and movies.

  1. I don't know of any books...

    Legiom looks good :)

  2. I don't know of any books either.

Might have to check out Legion. Sounds pretty good.

  3. Daybreakers is out all ready, niiiiice!

LB Gregg's In and Out is coming out Friday!!!!

  4. Duderz!

Celine looks hawt on that cover! Haha... and I'm into her chest pumpin' too.

Ahem. On to more serious business. Legion!!!! Daybreakers!!! I liked them both. But the ending to Daybreakers pissed me off from what I can remember. Hehe.

  5. Tell me if Legion is any good. I haven't seen yet, either. :-)
