After reading Bound to Please and Dare to Surrender by Lilli Fiesty, I was so looking forward to reading this book.   Her books are always filled with the right amount of naughtiness and when I realized that the book would involve a naughty chef I just couldn't wait to find out what would happen.  Nick Avalon is is a bad boy that loves to break the rules and he brings a feeling of excitement and change when he arrives to the quiet town of Redbolt, California.  Phoebe Mayle knows that he is talented but doesn't like the fact that he frowns on the small town and tries her best to keep a professional boss-employee relationship with him. But there is just something about Nick that makes brings out the naughty side of Phoebe that she never knew she had. 

Nick is great in the kitchen and has a knack for using his culinary skills in the bedroom as well.  There is one particular scene in which is usage of chocolate is absolutely scorching!   I liked that Phoebe was just able to go with the flow and enjoy herself.  She loses herself in Nick and it seems as if that is exactly what she needs at this point in her life.  Their relationship is not just one sided as Nick changes for the better as well.  He begins to realize that small town living isn't that bad and being there is a much needed change for his life.  Everything is fresher and cleaner there and he begins to understand it's appeal and doesn't miss living in a big city at all.  He was also a positive influence to Phoebe's niece Jessie by taking the time to teach her how to prepare different dishes in the kitchen.  Jessie is interested in attending culinary school but doesn't have the confidence in herself because she's afraid that her vegetarian father will be angry at her for cooking and liking meat.  But once she realizes that she should make the choice based on what she felt was right, she is able to gain the confidence and step into Nick's shoes when the time is needed. 

I'm giving Deliciously Sinful a rating of: 

As much as I enjoyed the naughtiness and touching moments in the book, Deliciously Sinful just didn't do it for me the way the previous two books did. I had a hard time connecting to Phoebe and Nick's characters and felt that storyline was missing something. I just can't put my finger on what it was, but I felt that the storyline didn't excite me that much.  Despite how I felt about this book, I will still be excited to read whatever future release Lilli Fiesty will have to her readers.
