Received book from publisher to review.
Half-human and half-wyr, Pia Giovanni spent her life keeping a low profile among the wyrkind and avoiding the continuing conflict between them and their Dark Fae enemies. But after being blackmailed into stealing a coin from the hoard of a dragon, Pia finds herself targeted by one of the most powerful–and passionate—of the Elder Races.
As the most feared and respected of the wyrkind, Dragos Cuelebre cannot believe someone had the audacity to steal from him, much less succeed. And when he catches the thief, Dragos spares her life, claiming her as his own to further explore the desire they’ve ignited in one another.

Pia has been on the run for most of her life.  Her mother kept them moving from place to place for Pia's own safety.  But Pia knows that she is different and that there is a reason why she has to be secretive.  After she steals something from a very important person, she goes on the run to hide.  Dragos is no regular man.  Not only is he a wealthy, powerful man, he is also the oldest Wrykind, a dragon.  He wants what was stolen from him and he goes on the hunt to find the person responsible.  Once he finds her, he realizes that she is not what he expected and gives Pia the opportunity to explain why she stole from him. He learns who is behind it all and the more time he spends with Pia, the more he begins to fall for her. Pia feels a sense of safety when she is around Dragos and struggles with telling him her secret.

Now that I got that introductory paragraph out of the way...I can let the fangirl out.  This book was awesome!  I'm so excited to have found another series that had great characters that I can enjoy!  Even tough this book was primarily about Dragos and Pia, the reader gets the chance to meet additional characters that will hopefully have their own book one day.  They are all a part of Drago's life and care for him dearly.  Let me just say that I cannot wait for Rune's book!  He is Dragon's right hand man so to speak and there's something about him that has me craving his book.  It'll be out later this year so I'm happy about that.  All of the characters are great and supportive and this makes for great reading.

I am very happy that Dragos and Pia found each other because they mesh well together as a couple.  They bring out great qualities in one another and this lead to some sweet scenes between the two of them.  Pia taught Dragos how to say "please" instead of just barking orders at the people that work for him as well as herself.  Dragos was able to make Pia feel safe enough to trust him.  There are also some very hot sex scenes between the two of them that earned Dragos a spot on my Book Boyfriend list!  Those that know me know how much I enjoy hot scenes and they were some of the hottest scenes that I have ever read!  Lets just say that Pia is one lucky lady!

I loved, loved, loved this book and Dragon Bound is a great start to a wonderful new series!  I'm giving it a rating of:
