Now you're probably wondering why he was naked (maybe some of you aren't). Well you see William is really a dragon in the body of a man. After saving someone's life, he had to transform from dragon to man form and didn't have time to get clothes apparently. Hehe! He saw Maddy and just couldn't help himself. Maddy was appalled of course and has tried her best to stay as far away from William as she can get. Not only is she afraid of him but she thinks he looks live a caveman! William gets a makeover with a little help from Maddy's nursing home patients and once Maddy gets a look at him, she can't fight the attraction! She also sees a different side of William when she realizes how nice and patient he is with her patients.

Maddy begins to realize that the strange things happening in the town are related to William, but before he can tell her what he really is, he has to show her how much he really cares for her. Because she has had issues with men in the past, Maddy finds it hard to trust anyone. Especially because she has a daughter. But she finally begins to realize that she deserves to be loved and William is the perfect man for that. She gives in and we are rewarded with some hot scenes between the two of them. They were interrupted a couple of times by giant wolves and a violent storm that appeared outta nowhere, but those types of things seem to be happening more frntly in Midnight Bay.

I love the Midnight Bay series because of all the different Paranormals that show up throughout the books. My favorite character is Mac, a very sexy Druid that is so arrogant because he knows how powerful he is. I'm crossing my fingers that he has his own book in the future and can't wait to see who or what shows up in Midnight Bay in the future books!
